Classes available for personal or small group instruction:

SPINNING

Spindle 101: Basics of spindle spinning, plying and twist setting. Spindle available from instructor.  1-3 sessions.

Wheel Spin: Inclusions 101: Add texture and color variations to your handspun yarn by using scraps of yarn, ribbons or lace.  Some inclusions provided by instructor.  Bring your own scraps to class or items to cut into scraps.  Additional packages will be provided for purchase.  1 session.

Art Yarn: Beyond basics of wheel or spindle spinning.  Must know how to spin and have own spindle or wheel.  Number of sessions varies from 1 up.

KNITTING

Leaf Lace Shawl: Good 1st lace project. Must know how to knit, basic increases and decreases a plus. 5 sessions.

My 1st Socks: Basic sock construction.  Adventurous knitters will have pattern choices.  Must know how to knit plus basic in creases and decreases. Number of sessions varies with pattern and skills; 2-5 sessions.

Knit in 60: Learn or review cast on, knit stitch and cast off - all you need to know to knit a scarf or dish/face cloth.  1 session.

Beyond Basics in 60: Add to your basic knit skills how to purl, yarn over (yo) and knit 2 together (k2tog).  Combine with "Knit in 60" skills to knit a Rib Scarf with Eyelet Border.  1 session.

Serenity Baby Blanket/Throw: Learn or practice basic lace and cable techniques while crafting a lovely blanket "in the round".  5 sessions

Four Seasons Throw: Design your own throw or blanket with 12 interchangable blocks in colors of your choice.  Starter Kit includes Pattern Booklet, Design Worksheets and first session with instructor.  Monthly follow up sessions are available for ongoing assistance.  Multiple sessions.

Grinny Possum Cowl: Lacey neckwarmer designed for handspun or any lovely colorful yarns.  Basic knitting skills required.  1 extended or 2 regular sessions depending on session length.

Sweet Bunn: Bunny Stuffy knit in the round with little stitching for adding arms, legs and ears.  Designed for angora arns for extra plushy goodness.  1 extended or 2 regular sessions depending on session length.

Dzonba Slippers: Quick to knit, cozy to wear!  Himalayan design worn by native people of all ages in various layers with socks and even over shoes.  Can also be great house socks.  Great gifts and good to have on hand for extra gifts as one size made will fit several size feet.  Instructions to seam or knit in the round.  Skills include yarn over and 3 needle bind off.  1 extended session.

Technique - Lace with Beads: Instructions for adding beads to lace projects.  Should be comfortable with basic lace including knit, purl, yarn over (yo) and knit 2 together (k2tog).  1 extended session.

French Quarter Lace Scarf: Lovely diamond pattern fantastic for first time lace knitters!  Choose length you desire - can be one-skein project.  Skills include yarn over (yo), knit 2 together (k2tog) and more invl=olved stitch manipulation.  1 extended session.

Starflaked: Ornament - knit 1 or dozens for holiday sharing!  Also great applique or package topper.  Knit in the round using double point needles (dpns).  May need starch depending on yarn choice, but usually fine for hanging after blocking.  1 session.

Specialized: A knitting project you don't want to tackle alone or perhaps you need help with a particular technique.  Number of sessions varies.
